The Green Artists League (GAL) is an interdisciplinary artists' collective that creates public art addressing the global environmental crisis. GAL is a forum of contemporary artists exploring art and ethics in an era of ecological degradation. On May 3rd 2010, the City of Newburyport received word from the New England Foundation for the Arts that its request for $20k in support of GAL’s Alchemical Garden had been approved!
